Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported that at least six Palestinians, two of them children, were killed after IAF helicopters fired a number of missiles at a Palestinian vehicle in an area serving as a training facility of the Salah al-Din Brigades, the Popular Resistance Committees' military wing.
The wing was established by former Fatah members, but has been identified with the Hamas movement in recent years. Among the casualties was Iyad Abu-Aynan, a senior commander of the group.
IDF sources confirmed that the Israel Air Force did attack a vehicle carrying terror activists in the southern Gaza Strip.
